Networking
What are Networks?
Networks are more than one computer connected together in a way that they can share their resources with each other. Networks can be small, utilizing only a few computers in one location or building, or very large, comprised of thousands of computers spanning many buildings throughout the world. Practically everyone in today's world has been exposed a network of some type...the internet, your cable TV, your telephone, your workplace, etc. Click here for sample diagrams to help you visualize a network.

Why would I want or need a network?

  • Share your files and documents with many people.
  • Centralized printers allow groups of people or departments to print to them.
  • Communicate with each other via e-mail and other communications programs.
  • Allow everyone on the network to access the internet if you have an internet connection
  • Your systems and information are much more secure when also utilizing servers.
  • Administration and control can be centralized instead of the need to visit every computer.
  • With special network designs, your systems can have a very high availability and reliability rate utilizing redundancy (backup systems) and load balancing (distributing the same applications and data across the network) techniques.
  • There are many other possibilities.

All of these reasons lead to higher productivity, efficiency, innovation, competitiveness and ultimately cost savings.

Please take a look at some of the networking services we can offer you below.
